Academics in Global Affairs

Global Affairs students examine transnational and international processes in a wide range of areas. Students also study specific regions, languages, and investigate the ways particular parts of the world experience global processes.

Study abroad and globally-oriented internships are strongly encouraged, and the major advisor will help students work overseas experiences, study credits, and internship credits into the program of study. Students also can enhance their learning experiences by living in a Global Affairs community in on-campus housing.

Additionally, students may choose to double major by pursuing a second bachelor's degree, add a minor from a long list of university options, or take advantage of an accelerated master's degree.
