Minor in Global Affairs
Are you interested in international issues? Globalization? Study abroad and international experiences? Learning languages? Join the over 250 students in the Global Affairs Program and add a global perspective to your education.
The Global Affairs minor can enhance many different majors by providing you with a global perspective.
The requirements for the minor are:
1. GLOA 101: Introduction to Global Affairs or SOCI 120: Problems in the Global Society. (fulfills all the same requirements as GLOA 101).
2. CULT 320: Globalization and Culture.
3. ECON 385: International Economic Policy.
4. GOVT 322: International Relations Theory.
5. One of the following:
* CONF 340: Globalization, Peace and Conflict
* EVPP 337: Environmental Policy Making in Developing Countries.
There are no prerequisites for these courses, except that GOVT 322 requires GOVT 132 or 133.
