Course is designed for students interested in social science-oriented environmental research. Student learn how to ground their research ideas in social science theory, develop a central research question and construct original research hypotheses that are grounded in social science literature. They also hone their peer reviewing skills by assessing other students' research and offering constructive commentary. May be repeated within the degree for a maximum 6 credits.
Recommended Prerequisite: 12 credit hours of graduate course work at Mason or approval of instructor.
Registration Restrictions:

Enrollment is limited to Graduate or Non-Degree level students.

Students in a Non-Degree Undergraduate degree may not enroll.
