This course will introduce you to the topics and methods of digital history through the study of the history of the Appalachian Trail, America's original multi-state long distance footpath. No prior digital skills are required to be successful in this course. Students will also have the option of taking part in two different hikes on the Appalachian Trail in Virginia, including at least one optional overnight trip.
