Studies nature, distribution, and interaction of toxic chemicals released into environment. Topics include acute, subchronic, and chronic toxicity testing; uptake, distribution and metabolism of toxins as well as their distribution in the environment. Emphasizes effects on nonhuman biota, detection and fate of chemicals, and includes discussion of implications for government regulation. Equivalent to BIOL 745.
Recommended Prerequisite: EVPP 445 or EVPP 545 or equivalent; or permission of instructor.
Registration Restrictions:

Enrollment is limited to Graduate or Non-Degree level students.

Students in a Non-Degree Undergraduate degree may not enroll.
