What do you like about Mason?

Aside from being such a friendly and diverse campus, I like that Mason has the exact program of study that I am passionate about and is located near future employers in which I am interested. Mason's convenient location and dedication to career preparation makes me feel confident about investing in my education at Mason.

What classes are you looking forward to taking as an Accelerated MA student?

GLOA 610 - Economic Globalization and Development and, of course, the Seminar Abroad - GLOA 710.

How do you think the Accelerated MA program will prepare you for your future career?

I believe that pursuing an Accelerated MA in Global Affairs will build upon the foundation of my undergraduate degree and allow me to begin my career in the Global arena while obtaining an advanced study in my field. Many of the classes offered in the Global Affairs MA are in the evening, so students have the opportunity to work during the day and take classes at night.

Do you have any advice for prospective students to the Accelerated MA program?

I would advise any prospective students to meet with their academic advisor and figure out where Accelerated MA classes would fit into their schedule and plan accordingly. Set yourself up for success so that the program fits seamlessly into your schedule and plan ahead if you have to. For example, I took a few classes in the summer to lighten my course load for the fall.
