I'm from Woodbridge, VA.
What was your undergraduate major, and from which university did you graduate?
I graduated from George Mason University with a bachelor's degree was in Healthcare Administration and Policy.
What are some causes/issues you care about? Why?
I am passionate about community development. I want to live a life building and sustaining healthy communities where there have been historical inequities.
What do you hope to accomplish while at Mason? What have you already accomplished?
While at Mason, I hope to increase and sharpen fluency in Spanish as well as grow my understanding of global perspectives.
What are your hobbies?
I love to ride horses and do all kinds of outdoor sports/activities. Anything with nature and fresh air is a place of refuge for me.
What is your favorite thing about being a student?
I love having benchmarks to meet throughout the semester where I can expect to be at a greater level of mastery of a discipline. I like being able to look back and see my academic development.
What was the last book you read? Do you recommend it? Why/why not?
Boundaries by Henry Cloud. I highly recommend it for everyone because as you get older and life gets more demanding, maintaining your own sense of self as you meet the expectations and requirements of the people and things around you protect your longevity and internal happiness.
