Professor Singh Guest Edits Special Issue and Chairs Section

J.P. Singh, Professor of Global Affairs and Cultural Studies, guest edited the March 2013 Presidential issue of the International Studies Review on the theme “International Relationships in the Information Age.” The peer-reviewed special issue features essays on power, democracy, security, commerce, and diplomacy from well-known scholars. Professor Beth Simmons, President of the International Studies Association for 2011-12 and Clarence Dillon Professor of International Affairs at Harvard University, chose this theme for her Presidency and asked Professor Singh to guest edit the special issue.

The International Studies Review is one of the official journals of the International Studies Association, which has over 6000 members worldwide.

Professor Singh also chaired the International Political Economy Section of the ISA for 2012-13. IPE is the second biggest of ISA’s 25 sections with over 800 members.
