Grab your lunch and join us in-person or online as we hear from Dr. Graziella McCarron and Averi Jordan regarding their current research topics.
Dr. McCarron is an Associate Professor of Leadership Studies in the School of Integrative Studies at George Mason University. She develops and teaches undergraduate and graduate courses focused on leadership theory, ethics and leadership, social change, and leadership and organizational problem-solving. Her presentation is titled “Supporting First-Generation College Students of Immigrant Origin: Research and Practical Approaches."
Averi Jordan is a current student in the Interdisciplinary Studies program with a concentration in Religious Studies. She .will be presenting on her thesis titled “Discordance over Race, Health, and Politics in American Protestant Churches: A Case Study on Fairfax Church’s use of Conflict Prevention & Resolution to Promote Unity Over Uniformity.”
