Brenda Wilson is an Award-winning correspondent and the former Health Editor for National Public Radio (NPR) on national and international public health. Throughout her career she has developed a consistent body of work, examining the link between human behavior, social conditions, health and disease. She has reported extensively on the global HIV/AIDS epidemic, with a focus on Africa. In 1999, she was awarded a Kaiser Foundation Media Fellowship 9 to study the impact of AIDS on migrant workers in South Africa.
