At Mason, the programs in global affairs will transform you into a global citizen with a skill set that will position you for success in a rapidly globalizing world. As a global affairs student, you will interact with a distinguished faculty committed to ground-breaking research with a global focus, and you will have opportunities to study abroad.
Located in the suburbs of Washington, D.C., Mason offers you access to the cultural, political, academic, and employment resources of America’s most global city. Through our Center for Global Education you can study abroad for a few weeks, a semester, or an entire year. The resources of the Center for Global Studies will help you gain practical experience on a wide range of topics, including business, economy, health, environment, culture, peace, conflict and more.
Mason offers both graduate programs and undergraduate programs in global affairs.
During the spring 2009 semester, Mason professors Michael Chang and T. Mills Kelly from the Department of History and Art History created a Post-Socialist Film Series that focused on the end of the Cold War and what has come afterwards.
