Saira Bhatti has served in the U.S. House of Representatives as a district staffer for over seven years managing immigration casework including Afghan evacuation cases, family visa petitions, and asylum cases. She was also the program director for the Congressional App Challenge encouraging STEM education in Virginia’s 10th congressional district.  She is currently an instructor at George Mason University in the Global Affairs department in Fairfax, VA where she teaches on globalization and professional development.
