MA in Global Affairs with a specialization in Global Health
One of the highlights of her time at Mason is when she completed the Fall 2018 Global Health Fellowship in Arlington as an undergraduate student. This spring, she is excited to be presenting at NCUR with her honor’s research project that examines the attitudes of Pakistani Americans towards vaccination and explores their experience of the vaccination debate. After graduation, she hopes to pursue her research interests in global health and migration. Juwairiyah would like to especially thank Dr. Lisa Breglia, Dr. Niklas Hultin, and Dr. Lisa Eckenwiler for their fascinating classes and Dr. Cortney Rinker, Erika Marquina, Virginia Holm, and the entire GLOA department for their support. They have all been especially understanding and helpful during the global pandemic we find ourselves in. She would also like to send an extra big thank you to her parents for their love, encouragement, and support!
